Love Doesn't Feel Like This

a bright day's sun.
Or the exhaustion one can feel
after a day's work has been done.
Like the continuous pain of a shattered,
broken heart.
Or the feeling of worthlessness from a
life so torn apart.
When seasons change, they come and
go.
The truth about life, one will never
know.
One thing's for certain, that just can't be
missed.
That love, true love, doesn't feel
like this.
